FCFCU Student Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to our 2011 Student Scholarship winners!
This year, the Credit Union is proud to award scholarships to Nicholas Palmateer a graduate of Northville Central High School, Dylan Quinn a graduate of Johnstown High School, Priya Winston, a graduate of Johnstown High School, and Jocelyn Ruzycky, a graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School.
Their outstanding academic performance, honors, and leadership qualities are exemplary. These students are commended for their desire to pursue higher education.
Fulton County Federal Credit Union awards $4,000 in scholarships each year in an effort to help further the education of area students. The program awards: (4) $1,000 scholarships to those candidates who have demonstrated academic merit and who have engaged in community service upholding the Credit Union philosophy of “people helping people”.
Qualifying students must be members and in good standing with the credit union, age 21 or younger, and a first time college bound student to apply. Applicants are judged on academic performance, extracurricular, and community service activities/employment, quality of a written essay, and teacher/supervisor references.
We wish the Class of 2011 much success and hope that credit union membership will help them achieve their financial goals.
